Non-Typical 55 Gal. Poly-Lower Unit fits 55 gallon barrels, both metal and plastic. The extra long 12"
feed tube is double the length of our 6" steel lower unit. Choose from the 3-way for three ledged feeders, or the
4-way for four ledged feeders.
The wagon wheel design in the top gives this unit rigidity and flexibility. The design keeps the funnel unit from changing
shape when 300 lbs. of feed is put on top of it.
This unit is weather, rust, and leak proof. This maintenance free unit will provide years of trouble free use. This unit is built
to be outside 24-7, 365 days!

 Build Your Own Protein Feeder
- Cut all but a 2" lip out of the bottom of a 55 gallon drum.
- Elevate drum high enough to allow the funnel and down spout to clear the ground.
- Insert funnel/spout through top of drum.
- Pull spout down firmly. Use a 2x4 and a deadblow hammer to seat the funnel portion evenly with the 2" lip on the bottom of the drum.
- Lay drum down on it's side and (from the inside) drill 2 pilot holes in the lip of the funnel. Insert two 1/2" sheet metal screws to secure. (Spin drum and repeat) You should have 4 screws when finished.
- Turn drum upside down and caulk with clear silicone where the drum and funnel meet.
- Allow to dry overnight.
- Install 4-way with (2)bolts included.
- Install BossBuck Barrel Band leg systems for a more moisture resistant feeder.
- Our suggested feed height is 38" - 40" from the ground.
