The Non-Typical Protein conversion kit. This great product has a galvanized steel plate, pre-drilled to fit the 12 volt control boxes on the market today.
Can be drilled to retro fit any bolt pattern. Use the 3-way unit for 3 legged feeders and the 4-way for 4 legged feeders.
These patented gravity heads are the best on the market. Dry feed guarenteed!
- Sheet metal is galvanized 14 GA.
- 3-way unit is a 4"OD and fits into a 4"ID, material only.
- Middle tube (down spout/tube) is 20 inches in length.
- Mounting plate is 13" square

Build Your Own Protein Feeder
|

- Cut all but a 2" lip out of the bottom of a 55 gallon drum.
- Elevate drum high enough to allow the funnel and down spout to clear the ground.
- Insert funnel/spout through top of drum.
- Pull spout down firmly. Use a 2x4 and a deadblow hammer to seat the funnel portion evenly with the 2" lip on the bottom of the drum.
- Lay drum down on it's side and (from the inside) drill 2 pilot holes in the lip of the funnel. Insert two 1/2" sheet metal screws to secure. (Spin drum and repeat) You should have 4 screws when finished.
- Turn drum upside down and caulk with clear silicone where the drum and funnel meet.
- Allow to dry overnight.
- Install 4-way with (2)bolts included.
- Install BossBuck Barrel Band leg systems for a more moisture resistant feeder.
- Our suggested feed height is 38" - 40" from the ground.
